Nickie is a self-taught floral designer with over 15 years of experience. Her journey began in a small floral shop, where she not only honed her skills but also discovered the emotional power of flowers to mark life’s everyday and extraordinary moments.

With a background in jewelry design and painting, Nickie brings a romantic and slightly wild aesthetic to her work, often inspired by lush gardens and eclectic vintage decor. Her style is both artistic and approachable, making her a favorite among clients and students alike.

Today, Nickie runs her own floral design business, crafting memorable arrangements for both intimate gatherings and large-scale events. As the lead designer for Gatto’s Petal Pickup, she will be teaching at most of our floral events—sharing her passion, techniques, and a love for all things botanical.
